Community-based Tourism Network (2009-2012) Community-based Tourism Network The College of Innovation, Thammasat University commenced work on the “Sustainable Community‐based Tourism Network Project” since 2009-2012. This is a continuous initiative supported by the Department of Tourism, Thailand. The intent of the project is to carry out a capacity building exercise to enhance knowledge and understanding of communities in developing sustainable tourism based on local authenticity, cultural and environmental conservation as well as establishing collaborative efforts/ networking among the communities within the pilot provinces.
