Introduction
As the world economy changes the service sector is now an important segment of the economy providing jobs and opportunities for economic and social development. It has become clear that with an increasingly global and competitive world only those service organizations that continue to evolve and innovate will be successful in the future. The ‘Service Innovation’ program (BSI) has been established in response to service trends and concepts for the public, private as well as nonprofit sectors. It has been designed to provide graduates with an international perspective on service delivery and service design as well as enhance their interpersonal communication, teamwork and leadership capacities.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates have the opportunity to work with a number of local, regional and global organizations including:
International organizations such as The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO), UNESCO (and other UN agencies) and the ASEAN Secretariat;
Private companies and businesses in a variety of service sectors that include hotels, accommodations, airlines, travel agencies, logistics, healthcare, banking, retail, social enterprises, service design consultants, and telecommunications;
Manufacturing companies and businesses with a service component;
A range of Thai government agencies.
